Spotlight on Changes in the Way Families Fly

Traveling by air with children has gotten more difficult in the last year or so. Unfortunately, no matter how well you plan, or how far in advance you organise the specific of your trip, you might find not all goes according to plan. Ah, such is life, and thanks to the limited funds that airlines are working with, such is flying.

One thing you should be prepared to face is the possibility that though you selected seats together for your family, this may not be what you find once onboard. Planes are being substituted more and more, and while the original plane may have had three across, now it has only two.

Therfore, you ned to be prepared to sweet talk some of the other passengers to trade seats with you and yours. To do this you must present well, and by this I mean have your troops ready. Have them finish all snacks prior to boarding, and be clear on who is carrying what on to the flight. A well organized first impression will garner you favour, because nobody will welcome the crumb covered, jam on the cheek and hands kid into their section.
